So many people comment about the scarcity of parking in Fremantle so why does the council intend to suspend the CAT bus service?I wont be driving into town

the worst WORST customer service I have ever experienced.I called them up as I was staying at the Hougoumont Fremantle and asked where the cheapest place in Fremantle is to park over night and they suggested Collie Street multi storey would be around $12. The hotel parking was $25 so we decided to go with what they suggestedThe next day we leave at 9am TO FIND WE WERE CHARGED $40 FOR PARKING!!!!!!!!!!!I was obviously FURIOUS as the COUNCIL advised us to park there as it was cheaper. I contacted them and they didn't get back to me so a week later I had to CHASE THEM UP and just got sorry we don't own that parking lot we can't reimburse you"? yet they gave us the wrong information? no duty of care WHAT SO EVER so appalling. I am honestly still in shock and so disgusted at how they have treated this situation."

I'm a local and like to support local businesses. But driving to Freo on a Wednesday night for dinner and having to pay $6 for parking is ridiculous! Monday-Thursday from 5pm-1am should be free. Otherwise people will instead eat elsewhere. The streets were dead so it's not like the demand is there on a weeknight to money grab!

WorkCover WA
WorkCover was easy to find. The staff are friendly, everything was straight forward and they explained exactly what was to be expected and the options available. They were unbias and professional. The premise was fresh and clean and the environment was calm.

City of Canning
The City of Canning need to implement the three bin system (red, yellow and green color bins) that almost every other council implemented years ago! I l've lived in City of South Perth and City of Melville over the past 5 years and both had weekly recycling whereas Canning is still only do fortnightly recycling with the old 2 bin system. Give us our sin bins so we can use green bins for green waste instead. And extend the frequency of recycling to weekly instead of fortnightly! We used to have 2 rubbish bins and 2 recycling bins when I was in City of Melville and all 4 got emptied like clockwork every week.
