The City of Canning need to implement the three bin system (red, yellow and green color bins) that almost every other council implemented years ago! I l've lived in City of South Perth and City of Melville over the past 5 years and both had weekly recycling whereas Canning is still only do fortnightly recycling with the old 2 bin system. Give us our sin bins so we can use green bins for green waste instead. And extend the frequency of recycling to weekly instead of fortnightly! We used to have 2 rubbish bins and 2 recycling bins when I was in City of Melville and all 4 got emptied like clockwork every week.

We are a small business and we could not get a hold of them for a month! Called the land line number, never apologise. We have a business to run to support families, we not sitting around all morning reading newspapers. Take this review seriously and change how you deal with tax payers.Simply unprofessional.

Very money hungry with lack of planning for site. What shire changes 20-30 bays from near a major shopping complex weeks before Christmas to transperth bays (which are poorly signposted as well) then send the ranger to start fining regular customers who more than likely do not realise the change. (no I was not one getting a fine just one horrified at the shire making such a low blow)

A continuously worst service I've ever had from a city council. Every time contact them, they replied you with an email saying would respond in 5 days. 10 days later, still no response, called them, went to message box, I left my number, no call back at all. Extremely bad CEO and bad management.

Always been helpful and friendly in my dealings with them. Do a great job looking after the parks in the area. Ranger service is good - nice to have another set of eyes on the street.

I found that the ranger went above and beyond in helping me with a stray cat. I was very thankful that the issue was dealt with quickly and with care for the animal's well-being.

Homeless camping in Camden Drive riverlands. Squatter been there for weeks. Ranger explained that he is powerless to move homeless camps if they don't want to go. (300m from Westfield Carousel) Lucky I don't live near this.

City of Canning organises good community events in Willetton area for Friday area and making public bins birds-safe. It’s really good for our environment as well.Also they organise family friendly events at Riverton and Cannington pools.And great toddler exercise classes for unbelievable low costs are available at Cannington Leisureplex.Wish to have those classes at Riverton Leisureplex as well so I don’t have to travel all the way with kids from Willetton area.

I wrote two emails about the blocked drainage on Hawford Way. No actions have been done. I had to unblock it myself and removed lots of mud. Maybe I should get their salary too.
